at last, lately

      spar

return to Truitt
wait on the porch
the mailbox full
as a crane’s set
arc
and near,
howlessly,
new flowers for Luis,

use was now somebody’s

fiend with a well kempt secret

done rubbed thru a leathern
country fabled for its view

that no belief without conviction
